Guan Xudong holds a Bachelor of Laws from Shandong University of Political Science and Law and an MSc in Political Science from the University of Leeds. He has received systematic training in social science research methods, with a focus on both qualitative and quantitative approaches. His research interests include state capacity and legitimacy, political polarisation, extremism, the role of non-state actors, and global governance.
